Cisco Routing & Switching is a 3-day instructor-led hands-on custom course where you will learn about Virtual Broadcast Domain, VLAN Traffic Between Switches, Switch Operations, Spanning Tree, EtherChannels / Ethernet Link Aggregation, MTU concept / Encapsulation, IOS DHCP Fundamentals, OSPF Architecture, BGP  Architecture and MPLS Architecture.
Cisco recommends that you have the following knowledge and skills before taking this course:
Technical  understanding of TCP/IP networking and network architecture
OSI model fast review
Features and functions of the Cisco Internetwork Operating System (IOS®) software
Host-to-host communications across switches and routers/Virtual Broadcast Domain 
Host-to-host communications across switches and routers / VLAN Traffic Between Switches
Implement, and verify Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs) and trunks
Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) and Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol (RSTP) work
Implementation of redundant switched networks using Spanning Tree Protocol
Configure link aggregation using EtherChannel
Troubleshooting link aggregation using Etherchannel
Troubleshoot Layer 2 connectivity using VLANs and trunking
MTU concept: L2MTU / IP MTU difference
Describe the features, metrics, and path selection concepts of routing protocols
Explore functions of routing
Cisco IOS IP Routing:  Operation, benefits, and limitations of static routing
Configuration of inter-VLAN routing
Implementation and optimization of Open Shortest Path First (OSPF)v2 including adjacencies, packet types, and areas, summarization
Management of Cisco devices / Implement a basic security configuration of the device management plane
IOS DHCP Fundamentals / Configure  Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) 
Implementing External Border Gateway Protocol (eBGP), path selection, and single and dual-homed networking
Implementing External Border Gateway Protocol (iBGP)
Configure and explain and configure Network Address Translation (NAT) on Cisco routers
Implementing overlay technologies such as Virtual Routing and Forwarding (VRF),
MPLS Introduction and Architecture
Implementing MPLS L3 VPNs
